Cloud Migrations

Leave servers behind. Completely.

Structured, low-disruption migrations from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft 365 — without the chaos, and without hourly billing.

How we actually do it

A migration is only as good as its process.

Every engagement follows the same four-phase framework, refined across 200+ migrations — from 20-user law offices to midsize manufacturers.

01

Discovery & Assessment

We audit everything: servers, applications, data volumes, Active Directory structure, email platform, and user dependencies. Every system that will move gets documented before we touch anything.

02

Design & Architecture

Your Microsoft 365 environment is designed before the migration begins — Entra ID structure, SharePoint architecture, Teams design, Intune policies, and the security baseline. You approve the design before we build it.

03

Migration & Configuration

Staged and sequenced to minimize user impact. Email, files, identity, and endpoints move in planned order. Users are prepared before each cutover. Issues are handled in real time by the senior engineers running the migration — not escalated.

04

Stabilization & Handoff

We stay engaged after cutover to catch anything that surfaces in normal operation, deliver full documentation of the finished environment, and transition you to ongoing managed services.

Real projects

What migrations actually look like.

Representative projects — anonymized, but real shapes and real numbers.

Manufacturer

Weekend cutover
58users
2servers retired
6weeks total
  • File server → SharePoint with permission redesign
  • On-prem AD → Entra ID, hybrid retired
  • Intune deployed to 70+ devices via Autopilot
  • Production floor untouched during business hours

Accounting Firm

Zero downtime
21users
0hours downtime
4weeks total
  • Hosted Exchange → Exchange Online overnight
  • FTC Safeguards Rule baseline configured
  • DLP policies for client PII from day one
  • Completed during tax season — deliberately staged around it

Law Firm

Two offices
85users
3servers retired
11weeks total
  • Exchange 2016 + file servers → full M365
  • Matter-based SharePoint architecture
  • VPN retired; Conditional Access replaced it
  • Ethical-wall access controls preserved and improved
Pricing

Fixed scope. One price. No surprises.

After discovery, you receive a fixed-scope proposal — total cost, deliverables, and timeline, committed before work begins.

We don't bill migrations hourly. An hourly migration rewards slowness; a fixed-scope migration rewards precision. We prefer the incentive that works in your favor.

Email cutover is typically scheduled for an evening or weekend, and most users notice nothing beyond re-entering credentials. File migrations run in the background with a final delta sync at cutover. We plan for zero business-hours downtime, and in the large majority of migrations we achieve it.
Once every workload is verified in Microsoft 365 and a retention period has passed, we decommission it: final data verification, secure wipe or certified destruction of drives, and removal from your network. We document the retirement for your compliance records.
Yes — Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Contacts to Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Entra ID. Google migrations have their own quirks (label-to-folder mapping, Drive permission models) and we've handled them enough times to know where they hide.
You need target licenses in place before cutover, but not months before. We time license purchases to the migration schedule so you're not paying for two platforms longer than necessary — and we right-size the mix while we're at it.
Our discovery phase identifies it up front — typically legacy line-of-business apps with local database dependencies. The options are vendor cloud versions, Azure hosting, or keeping that single workload in place temporarily. You'll know before we start, not after.
We map your file server's NTFS permission structure to SharePoint's model during design — which is also the right moment to fix years of permission sprawl. Most clients end up with cleaner, more auditable access than they started with.
Level2 engineers, always. No offshore migration mills, no subcontracted cutover crews. The senior engineer who designs your migration is on the bridge during cutover.
It depends on mailbox count, data volume, and application complexity — which is why we scope after discovery and quote a fixed price. Rough calibration: a straightforward 25-user migration and a complex 150-user multi-site project are very different engagements, and both get an exact number before work begins.
